Welcome to the Academic Centers for Enrichment (ACE)

Challenge + Support = Growth

Our ACE Tutoring Centers (Option 1) will be CLOSED Wednesday, 12/22/21 - Monday 1/24/22.

ACE provides study skills support, help with Blackboard navigation, individual and group tutoring for most subjects taught at the College. Students can participate in study sessions led by ACE Students Leaders and receive assistance from peer tutors with projects and assignments.

For the Spring 2022 semester (January 24th, 2022 through May 20th, 2022), ACE is offering academic support on both the Lowell and Bedford campuses as well as online through Zoom Conferencing. 

OPTIONS FOR TUTORING & ACADEMIC SUPPORT:

image of a monitor  - Option 1 - Make an On-Campus Appointment with a Peer Tutor (In Person)

Click on Option 1 to choose the Tutoring Center where you would like to make an in-person appointment. If you are unsure on which is the appropriate Tutoring Center for your specific subject, you can visit Hours/Subjects to check the locations, phone numbers, and schedules for various subjects.

 

Monitor image - Option 2 - Request an Online Appointment with a Peer Tutor (Via Zoom) 

Click on Option 2 to fill out and submit a request form for an online tutoring with a peer tutor. You will need to include information about the course/subject with which you need support, as well as your contact information, and availability. 

PLEASE NOTE: Scheduling an online tutoring appointment can take up to 48 hours. You should not choose this option if you are looking for a same-day appointment. Also, requests that are submitted over the weekend will be addressed on Monday mornings

eTutoring is an online tutoring service with professional tutors that is available for all MCC Students during the Winter 2022 Semester (January 3rd through January 21st, 2022). eTutoring offers support for the following subject:

  • Writing across all subjects (Writing Tutoring is synchronous and asynchronous)

For Writing, There are synchronous and asynchronous options on eTutoring. Students can join real-time online writing labs (shown on the eTutoring schedule) or they can submit their writing assignments for review and a tutor will provide feedback within 48-72 hours.

Ramp Up Open Lab

Ramp UP Open Labs will be open for all Ramp Up students for Spring 2022 semester. Walk-ins are welcome, no appointment needed!
