Strategic Planning

"The degree to which institutions can harness their resources to achieve their objectives will depend upon the clarity of these objectives and the institution’s willingness to set priorities and solve its problems.”

                                                                  -  American Council on Education

The College's current strategic plan, Transformative Education, began in 2016 and identified five strategic directions - Teaching and Learning, Access and Student Success, Community Partnerships, Technology, and Institutional Effectiveness - that guide the college through 2020.

The cycle for a new Strategic Plan started in Fall 2019 for a plan to begin implementation in 2020. The new planning process coincides with the College’s 5 year accreditation report to the New England Commission on Higher Education (NECHE) and so presents an important juncture for taking stock of the institution’s accomplishments during the previous plan and the sharpening of a vision to meet future challenges.
