Biotechnology at MCC
Addictions Counselor Program (ACP)
A 9 course program offered on the BEDFORD CAMPUS with classes on TUESDAY and THURSDAY evenings.
This program meets the educational requirements for the state LADC II and the CADC certification for addictions treatment counseling. Program graduates have readily found employment as addiction treatment counselors, intake clinicians, and residential case managers. All academic courses in this program transfer to the MCC Human Services degree and to all Massachusetts State Colleges and Universities.
Students can complete either a certificate or an Associate’s degree in Biotechnology. Through classroom experience and internships, we provide the education and training required for entry-level employment in biotechnology manufacturing, research, media preparation, quality control and more. Job placement assistance is also available.
