May 26 – Education and Liberal Arts Programs

We are so excited to celebrate all of your many accomplishments and perseverance on May 26, 2022 in an in-person Commencement ceremony. To keep students, faculty, staff and guests as safe as possible as we come together to celebrate, the College has decided to break this year’s ceremony into three separate events. This allows us all to celebrate in smaller numbers while practicing social distancing.

A: MCC will be celebrating the Education and Liberal Arts Programs at 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 26, 2022 at the Lowell Memorial Auditorium.

What if I am not vaccinated against COVID-19, can I still walk?

A: Yes. The decision has been made to allow our graduates and their families to attend Commencement, whether they are vaccinated against COVID-19 or not.

Although we are not requiring vaccination to attend the ceremonies, we do have a few alternative options that unvaccinated graduates and guests will be required to adhere to that will keep the event as safe as possible:

  • Wear a mask when indoors at all times OR
  • Show proof of negative PCR COVID-19 test result taken no more than 24 hours before event
