English Language Learner (ELL) Program
The ELL courses offered at MCC prepare non-native speakers of English for entry into the degree and/or certificate programs. Based on placement, students may enroll in one, two, or three semesters of reading and writing before enrolling in ENG 101. Students may also enroll in one or two semesters of the recommended grammar and editing courses. These courses carry institutional credit and qualify for financial aid.
