Join the Commonwealth Honors Program.
The Commonwealth Honors Program at Middlesex offers an exciting and inspiring opportunity for students to learn at a deeper level. The Honors Program provides a place for you to work with dedicated faculty where you participate in seminar style classes, exchange insights and ideas with students and professors, participate in extra-curricular activities, and master research techniques and in-class presentations.
What you learn will add value to your future goals and enhance your ability for transfer
to four-year colleges and universities.
Any student can register to take an Honors course, regardless of their GPA, degree, pathway, or previous experience in Honors or AP courses. Register today!
Become a Commonwealth Honors Scholar
Students who fulfill program requirements are recognized as Commonwealth Honors Scholars at MCC and within a network of Massachusetts colleges and universities. Please see Program Requirements for how you can become a Commonwealth Honors Scholar. Benefits include:
- Guaranteed transfer to any Massachusetts Commonwealth Honors Program
- Increased opportunities for scholarships and enhanced prospects of transfer to selective four-year colleges and universities
- Participation in seminars with small class sizes and special events and activities
- Opportunities to showcase student work and participate in college and statewide research conferences
- Recognition as a Commonwealth Honors Scholar at graduation
