Welcome to Hospitality and Culinary Arts

About Our Programs:
MCC offers four degree and certificate programs in hospitality and culinary arts, as well as two micro-credentials.  We offer 60 credit Associates of Science in both Hospitality Management and in Culinary Arts. We also offer 27 credit certificate programs in both Hospitality Management and Culinary Arts, as well as 9 credit micro-credentials in Restaurant Supervision and Culinary Arts. These programs combine industry focused course work with general business management courses.

Culinary Arts courses are offered at our new Culinary Lab on our Lowell Campus in the Cowan Center. Specialized courses offered in this space include Culinary I, Culinary II, Baking I and Baking II. Other courses in this program include Food Science and Sanitation / Serv Safe Training, Food and Beverage Management and Food and Beverage Revenue and Cost Control.

Specialized hospitality courses include Food and Beverage Management, Hospitality Management, and Convention and Event Planning. Courses are offered on both the Lowell and Bedford campuses, as well as online. The Hospitality Management A.S. Degree and Certificate can also be completed 100% online.

Both programs require an Internship course, which is a key component of the program, giving students real industry experience and a related course focused on career development and workplace issues.
