Information Technology Cybersecurity Programs
Overview
The IT programs at Middlesex Community College (MCC) prepare students for employment and further education. The courses offered as part of the IT programs prepare students for various entry-level positions within IT and Cybersecurity.
MCC offers a set of three stackable, one-semester certificates to help you get started in IT and develop your skills as you find the time. There are also two associates degrees, Information Technology – Cybersecurity and Information Technology – Networking and User Support.
Beginning in the Fall 2020 semester, students enrolling in the IT Cybersecurity programs at MCC will be able to choose between in-class and online education for each course. These course offerings will allow students to complete their education in person, online, or a combination of the two options. (All classes run subject to enrolment. Online or in-person sections may be canceled.)
Problem-solving and analytical thinking are emphasized throughout the certificate,
with a hands-on approach to learning.
The IT Cybersecurity programs at MCC are designed based on the National Initiative
for Cyber Security Education (NICE) framework for academic programs. MCC is a Cisco
Networking Academy and a VMWare IT Academy.
