Student Organization Resources
The Office of Student Engagement has a variety of supplies and professional development resources available to student organizations. Trainings will be provided on Club Leadership, Using Engage, and other relevant topics. Team-building and other leadership workshops for clubs or organizations are available through the Office of Student Engagement by request. The Office of Student Engagement is always open to new ideas and resources that may be helpful for student organizations and are open to meeting with club leaders to discuss further opportunities.
Engage
Engage is the Office of Student Engagement’s online student organization management system. Through it, students can find and join clubs and organizations, manage and message their members, create and advertise events to the rest of campus, and much more. All student organization events are planned and organized through Engage. Training is offered each semester through the Office of Student Engagement and must be attended by executive board members and Points of Contact.
Engage can be accessed at middlesex.campuslabs.com/engage

Social Media Accounts and Websites
Social Media Accounts
Organizations are advised not to create social media accounts. If an organization
would like to create an account, the students must meet with OSE staff first.
If the new account is approved by OSE staff, the following statement must be in the description of each account: “The [club name] is not an official representative of Middlesex Community College. Views expressed here are not supported by the college.”
These accounts do not replace Engage to manage the organization nor to create events for approval by the Office of Student Engagement. All accounts must follow MCC Social Media Policy, which can be found at this link.
Websites
Organizations should refrain from using a parent organization’s website as a resource
to prospective members, as a parent organization’s website does not accurately describe
how a student chapter is run on campus.
Use of the Middlesex Logo
Use of the Middlesex logo, seal, and crest must be approved by the Office of Student Engagement and the Marketing Department. Use of the logo, seals, and crest is a privilege and can be terminated at any time. Approved college standards, including approved logos and MCC official colors, can be found at this link.
