Wellness Education and Coaching

Wellness Coaching is for students that want to talk about how to take care of themselves and find balance in their lives. Using a collaborative approach, we’ll meet to talk about strategies to feel better and help you succeed academically. Examples of things we may discuss include sleep, stress management, organization/time management, self-care, and building habits.

Mission

We foster student success by creating an inclusive, equitable environment and strong campus and community partnerships. To increase academic success and personal wellness, we provide access to food and housing resources, free confidential mental health counseling, wellness education, and connect students with relevant resources.

Vision

To encourage the MCC community to embrace a whole-student perspective, we engage in conversations about the importance of student wellness and the resources available through the WRC. We provide opportunities for students to explore various aspects of their wellness (physical, mental, emotional, social, intellectual, financial, spiritual, and environmental) by participating in workshops, formal and informal conversations, classroom visits, peer support, and events.
