African Cultural Club
The African Cultural Club at Middlesex Community College is a student-run socio-cultural organization. ACC is responsible for fostering a culturally diverse environment and increase unity among all students.
Asian Students In Alliance (A.S.I.A.)
A.S.I.A. is committed to recognizing and celebrating the many diverse cultures of the Asian region and the students who are connected to it. We value inclusion of all identities and their connection to the Middlesex community, and we aim to enhance the college experience for our members by offering programs and events that bridges students, staff, and faculty to the Asian American experience and to other critical topics occurring within our community.
The Brotherhood is a safe space to connect at MCC that encourages a network between Black men and ensures the success of our Black Male students through political activism, social awareness and communal support. We have weekly meetings that include open dialogues on topics such as: masculinity on campus, strategies for academic success, building healthy relationships, mental wellbeing and more.
The International Club promotes understanding and respect for different ways of life, cultures and perspectives, while exposing students, faculty, and staff to the global community. The International Club is a vehicle for students to develop educational, social and cultural activities that nurture mutual understanding and appreciation of various cultures.
Latinos Unidos promotes multicultural awareness of Latin American and Hispanic cultures within the MCC community. The Latinos Unidos’ mission is to provide a network of support and communication among students from diverse ethnic backgrounds.
The idea of the Social Justice Club is to create an open space for students to discuss social issues. We want to give students this opportunity in order to maintain an inclusive and aware environment on campus and enforce values that can be carried on outside of MCC and into student's future endeavors. We will also aim to have guest speakers, facilitated discussions, and events that are off campus as well in order to connect to different communities. Meetings will be an hour long.
The Middlesex Community College Prism Club is a group of diverse students who support the LGBTQ+ community and their allies. Our discussions include topics that impact our lives and the LGBTQ+ community as a whole; we also plan events and activities to educate the campus community and create a more inclusive environment at MCC. We are always welcoming new members.
The WLN’s mission is to serve the college community through a series of professional, educational, and social events designed to enhance the understanding and appreciation of women’s roles as leaders.
Members will cultivate their management skills, enhance their identity development, define their leadership style, and have access to an "accountability" network of diverse women leaders.
