Site Life Cycle
Information on webpages should be updated as regularly as necessary. The OmniUpdate Content Management System is used to host all content on the College website. OmniUpdate includes a “Last Modified” date on each page. If a page’s content does not require regular updates (ex. policy, office information), it still needs to be reviewed twice a year. By having the “Last Modified” date change at least every six months, page visitors know that the information is accurate and is reviewed regularly. Every office is required to review their content and refresh the images on their pages twice a year, preferably every fall and spring or more frequently, if needed.
The College website utilizes OUCampus Templates. Training on the use of templates is provided by the MCC Technology Center. To sign up for training, contact the Technology Center Service Desk: servicedesk@middlesex.mass.edu or978-656-3301.
