Honors Writing Tutoring
Why Do I Want to Meet with an Honors Tutor?
- Receive feedback as you put together research papers and presentations
- Connect with a peer tutor who is familiar with the academic expectations for Honors level writing
- Developing your slide presentation for the Spring Research Conference involves writing, design, structure and public speaking – take advantage of support on any part of the project
- Convenience – Honors tutors are available on both campuses and through Zoom!
How do I specifically work with an Honors Tutor?
- Walk in to the Bedford or Lowell Center, or make appointments through MyNavigate in the MyMCC Portal
- Make sure to choose ACE (tutoring)as the type of appointment you would like to schedule
- In the Service drop down menu, make sure to select Honors
- You can search for available sessions by date, location (Bedford, Lowell, Zoom) or
tutor name. These are the SP24 Honors tutors and their locations:
- Donika – online & Lowell
- Jenn - online
- Katelyn - Bedford
- Molly - Lowell
- Orobosa – online & Lowell
- Prachi - Lowell
- Sohana – online & Lowell

Looking for a fun way to connect with peers while strengthening vocabulary and analysis skills? We're reading short stories. Join us on Fridays to read, talk, or just listen. Can’t make it every week? No worries, we’ll keep you updated on our progress and provide all reading materials; all you need to bring is yourself.

Every Fridays - 3:30pm to 4:30pm
No Registration needed. Just drop in.

Academic Discussion
Would you like to feel more confident in class discussions? Join us to talk about
all kinds of topics from what’s happening in the world to what’s happening in classes.
You will learn more vocabulary while having fun and engaging in lively discussions.
You can suggest topics for discussion if you want to practice something for your class,
or you can just be part of a discussion.
