GED® and HiSET® exams at NO COST to YOU

Are you a Massachusetts resident and need your high school equivalency?

MCC’s Adult Learning Center (ALC) offers FREE day & evening test prep classes online and in-person!

Mass. residents 16+ can now take the GED® and HiSET® exams at NO COST to them. The state will cover the cost of the first GED® and HiSET® test in each subject, plus two retakes.

With the ALC, YOU can gain knowledge that will assist you in successfully passing your exam to earn your high school equivalency

Improve your basic education skills, including:

  • Literacy
  • Computing
  • Mathematics
By completing MCC’s program and the GED® and HiSET® exams, you can continue your education at college and/or further advance in your career. 

Please note: to complete your classes you must:

  • Use a computer with a keyboard, speaker, microphone and camera
  • Have reliable internet access
  • Attend and participate in live class sessions in-person and online
  • Finish homework outside of class

Schedule

Daytime Classes – 9am-12:30pm 

In-person on Tuesdays | Online on Wednesdays & Thursdays

Evening Classes – 6pm-9 pm

Online only on Mondays and Wednesdays

Our interactive and live online sessions are taught on Zoom.
