TEAS (Test of Essential Academic Skills)

TEAS tests are currently being offered in-person on both the Bedford and Lowell campuses to MCC applicants only. Registration must be completed with ATI. Students should review the nursing admission requirements before registering for the exam to ensure their scores will be accepted by the college..

Students that require accommodations must make arrangements with Student Access and Support Services before you register for your exam by contacting StudentAccess@middlesex.edu. Students that do not make arrangements in advance may need to reschedule to receive their accommodations.

The Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS) is an exam designed to assess the academic skills and knowledge of individuals who are interested in pursuing a career in healthcare. The exam covers four main subjects: reading, math, science, and English language usage. The reading section focuses on comprehension and analysis of written material, while the math section covers basic math concepts and problem-solving skills. The science section covers general science topics, including anatomy and physiology, biology, and chemistry. Finally, the English language usage section covers grammar, vocabulary, and sentence structure.

TEAS TUTORING:

TEAS tutoring is available at https://www.middlesex.mass.edu/ace/. You can select one of the following options.

Option 2 – Request an Appointment with a Peer Tutor

Option 3 – Walk-In Tutoring through the Virtual Ask Me Booth (Wednesdays, 2:30-4:30 pm)
