Mail Services

The topics below cover such categories as addressing, enclosures, envelopes, inter-office mail, US mail classifications, specialized delivery services, and other information basic to your everyday needs. We hope these pages will be a useful reference for you.

The more we know about your needs and concerns in advance, the better we can fulfill them. Whether it is a special service, a large mailing, or you are sending or receiving something out of the ordinary, we can help. Contact us while you are still planning a mailing and we will help you save time, money, and avoid problems that could delay your project or event.

Jeffrey Waite (ext. 3205) is the primary contact for all mailing notifications, inquiries, and problem resolution. He should be contacted during the planning stage and prior to the purchase of materials for your mailing to verify that they comply with USPS and Mail Services regulations or if your mailing can be automated to realize postage discounts.

Any mailing consisting of more than 200 pieces should be discussed with Carmen Joubert of the Technology Center prior to its production. The Technology Center possesses equipment that can drastically reduce the labor and cost associated with large mailings, so as you plan your mailings, please give the Technology Center a call and see if they can help with your mailing.
