Ashton McLemore - Flour Bakery
Ashton was born and raised in Boston and love this city – the culture, how it’s a small city but there’s still so much to do. And, I’m a big Boston sports fan.
Ashton decided to pursue a career in cooking when he was in college and changed gears, enrolling in Le Cordon Bleu. After completing his culinary program at Le Cordon Bleu, he began working with Peter Doire (now Flour’s Culinary Director) at Legal Seafoods. Over the course of six years, Ashton worked his way up the line from prep cook to kitchen manager at two locations. When Peter let me know that there was a spot on the team at Flour, he knew that I wanted to continue working with him as my mentor.
In Spring 2021, Ashton came on board as kitchen manager at Flour South End, and is excited to learn more about baking and pastry in his role there. His favorite part of being on the Flour team is the opportunity for growth in so many areas.
When not at work, Ashton likes to play video games, is an avid photographer, who enjoys traveling.
