How Do I Accept a 2023-2024 Federal Direct Loan?
If your Financial Aid award letter includes any type of grant, there are no additional steps to accept the grant. If your award letter includes a Federal Direct Loan, please see the steps below for how to accept the loan. Loan offers will expire if they are not accepted.
- Log into myMCC at www.middlesex.mass.edu
- Under My Student Records, select My Financial Aid
- Select My Award Information
- Select Accept Award Offer By Aid Year
- Select Aid Year 2023-2024
- Click on Submit
- Select tab Resources and Additional Information
- Use the drop-down menu on the right of the screen and choose: YES or NO to accept or decline fee use and select Submit (white button on lower-left)
- Select tab Terms and Conditions, review and agree
- Select tab Accept Award Offer
- If you would like to accept full loan amount, select Accept full loan amount at the bottom. If you would like to accept only partial loan amount, select Accept in the drop-down menu and enter the specific loan amount (loan amount can’t be more than amount offered) and select Submit Decision on the bottom.
