Calculating Your SAI
As you’ve likely heard, some FAFSA filers have received an estimated Student Aid Index (SAI) via email, while others have not. And those that did receive an SAI may have been sent a figure calculated before the formula’s inflation adjustment. Though each family’s official SAI will be sent via their FAFSA Submission Summary beginning in March, anyone can use our SAI Calculator (which does include the inflation adjustment) to get an estimated SAI now.
