For more information on the  Federal Student Loan Debt Forgiveness Program go to https://studentaid.gov/debt-relief-announcement/

Visit this site often  as we will be posting about future informational sessions for students.

Please note!  Be aware that there are scammers trying to take advantage of this new program.  Students are already receiving calls regarding their student loans saying they can prequalify for loan forgiveness.  Do not give them any of your personal information such as social security number and date of birth.  And do not pay any money for this, it is a free program to help reduce your debt not add to it.  Here are more do's and don'ts.

Fresh Start

Students with currently defaulted Federal Student Loans may be eligible for the recently launched Fresh Start Program.  If you have received a letter from the US Department of Education stating that you qualify for the Fresh Start Program please contact our office to see what we can do for you.  For more information here is a link to the announcement. https://studentaid.gov/announcements-events/default-fresh-start
