Massachusetts Resident Rescue Fund
At Middlesex, we currently have one emergency fund available for eligible students: the Massachusetts Resident Rescue Fund.
A student may use the fund to pay for any component of their cost of attendance, including an outstanding account balance and/or tuition and fees, as well as for emergency costs that arise, such as food, housing, healthcare (including mental healthcare), or childcare.
To be eligible for the rescue fund, a student must:
- Be registered for courses for the term the fund will be awarded.
- Complete the Massachusetts Residents RESCUE Grant Form.
- Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for the 2023-2024 academic year (available at studentaid.gov).
- Demonstrate financial need.
- Be eligible for federal funding.
