The Middlesex Fund
The MCC Foundation Middlesex Fund supports mini-grants for faculty and staff initiatives
that directly benefit students thanks to the generosity of alumni donors, MCC employees
and community partners.
Apply for a Fund Mini-Grant:
The application period for the 2024-2025 academic year runs from Tuesday, September
3 through Monday, September 30, 2024.
Notes on the Process:
- All MCC faculty and staff are eligible to apply.
- Grant application requests should generally not exceed $5,000.
- Grants will be made for a maximum project length of one year.
- Funds should be spent within the academic fiscal year for which the grant was awarded.
- A detailed budget must be included as part of the application.
- All applications must be approved by the applicant’s department chair and/or the division Dean or Vice President before submittal.
- Should a grant be made, the grant submitter is responsible for processing invoices for the project under guidelines provided with the grant award within their cost centers. Sherri Goldman, Budget & Grants Analyst, will create indexes for your specific awards and monitor your spending throughout the fiscal year. Any monies not utilized during the current fiscal year will be returned to the Foundation to be added back to the Mini-Grants pool for the next fiscal year.
