Welcome to Middlesex Community College's in-house Speakers Bureau
Plan Ahead:
Faculty can connect with Student Affairs professionals to schedule workshops and/or presentations to compliment current curriculum. Specifics on content and delivery are intended to be a collaboration. Faculty may be present during the class or plan to have a speaker scheduled while attending a conference, observing a religious holiday or receiving medical treatment, etc. The topics offered by guest speakers are in alignment with MCC's Institutional Student Learning Outcomes.
Pinch Hitters:
Don't cancel class. In the event that Faculty cannot instruct a class at the last minute, a Student Affairs professional may be available to deliver a general presentation relevant to all MCC students or to facilitate a focus group to gain feedback on the student experience. Check availability, as needed, by contacting the Assistant Dean of Student Support Services at russl@middlesex.edu.
