Faculty Partnership Opportunities
MCC has a wonderful Office of Student Engagement that partners with faculty to support various student-centered activities that can enhance classroom learning and engage students in their coursework as well as the local community. The Office of Student Engagement may fund guest speakers in your class, purchase tickets and transportation to local events and activities, and work with you on other activities you may think of to support students’ learning and understanding of your class material. If you would like to use this resource, please contact the Office of Student Engagement staff at StudentEngagement@middlesex.edu. They can help you to explore options that would best support your classroom teaching.
Faculty can request to partner with OSE by logging into Engage with their MCC credentials and filling out the OSE/Faculty Partnership form at https://middlesex.campuslabs.com/engage/forms. Faculty who do not have an Engage account will be asked to create one using their MCC email credentials. Applications should be submitted at least three (3) weeks prior to the activity date. Please visit the Faculty Resources page on the Office of Student Engagement website for additional information on the application process as well as upcoming activities https://www.middlesex.mass.edu/studentactivities/faculty.aspx
Faculty can submit an application for an engagement activity by logging into The COMPASS: https://middlesex.collegiatelink.net/form/start/47918. Submission requires faculty to log into The COMPASS with their MCC email credentials (if they already have an account). Faculty who do not have a COMPASS account will be asked to create an account (using their MCC email credentials). Applications should be submitted at least three (3) weeks prior to the activity date. Please visit the Faculty Resources page on the Center for Leadership and Engagement website for additional information on the application process as well as upcoming activities: https://www.middlesex.mass.edu/studentactivities/faculty.aspx
